Dear Admissions Officer:

I have enclosed my application to attend your institution. I believe that my application is complete with the exception of a satisfactory TOEFL score or MELAB score. If my application is acceptable, please issue me a conditional letter of acceptance stating that I will be admitted to your institution when I receive an acceptable TOEFL score or MELAB score.

Prior to attending your institution, I will be enrolled in the intensive English language program at the Michigan Language Center (MLC), Ann Arbor, Michigan. While at the MLC, I will take the TOEFL and/or MELAB test and submit the results to you. I plan to begin my intensive English studies at the MLC in _______(month) , ________(year) . If there is any question or problem with my application, please let me know as soon as possible.
