Pathway to Eastern Michigan University Now More Affordable.
In-State Tuition for All International Students!
Over the past several months, we have helped several MLC students apply to and receive conditional admissions letters to Eastern Michigan University (EMU), one of the largest and most diverse universities in the state of Michigan. Three students in particular:
- Joanna, an incoming freshman from Albania, has dreams of becoming a pharmacist and chose EMU because of its academic rigor and quality programs. “I’m excited for the challenge of learning at such a great university.”
- Julio, an incoming freshman from Brazil, is excited to become a mechanical engineer and finds EMU to be the right fit given its location in Ypsilanti, Michigan and close proximity to Ann Arbor. “This area is such a great college environment.”
- Muhtdi, an incoming freshman from Saudi Arabia, has a goal to become a commercial pilot. “I chose EMU because it has a great education and programs that fit with my ambition. I’m so excited about studying at EMU because it’s one of the best universities in U.S.A. and It will fulfill my future dream.”
Now, EMU, a Michigan Language Center University Pathway Partner, has made it even more affordable for international students at MLC and all over the world. Per the official statement from EMU:
“As part of Eastern Michigan University’s commitment to educating students in a diverse and welcoming environment, EMU will no longer charge international undergraduate students out-of-state, non-resident tuition. Effective fall 2018, all new incoming international undergraduate students will pay in-state tuition.”
This is great news for all international students everywhere. In-state tuition for 30 credit hours is $11,919!
