Program Overview
MLC’s Intensive English Program is a full-time language training program designed for all English as a second language learners. Classes are offered at all levels from Low Beginning through Advanced in all skill areas such as grammar, writing, reading and speaking/listening.
Students can choose either full-time or part-time classes within the Intensive English Program. Full-time students study 20 hours/week (4 hours daily from Monday to Friday), while part-time student can choose from classes that meet 4, 6, or 10 hours/weeks. Please note that F-1 visa students must study full-time (20 hours/week) in order to comply with F-1 visa regulations. MLC classes also fulfill Au Pair visa education requirements if the Au Pair completes 72 hours of study. An official certificate and letter of completion can be provided upon completion of study.
Co-Curricular Student Activities & Services
All students who are enrolled in MLC’s classes (part-time AND full-time students) gain access to all of MLC’s co-curricular student activities and services, which are all included with the cost of tuition. These opportunities allow students to continue their language training beyond the classroom. This includes:
- Skill seminars (Vocabulary, Pronunciation, Role Playing)
- Conversation Practice Hour
- Student clubs (Volunteer, Book, Movie, Career)
- Academic and university counseling
