Student Spotlight – Muhtdi Alkadhim

Last week we talked with Muhtdi Alkadhim for MLC Student Spotlight.  Muhtdi is from Saudi Arabia and has been studying English at Michigan Language Center for about 4 months.  Here is an excerpt from our conversation:

“Who has been the biggest influence in your life?”

Muhtdi: “Actually, my brother…We are like friends, not just brothers.  I tell him all of my secrets and he gives me advice about anything I want.  He is the person who told me to go study in the US.  Don’t study in (Saudi Arabia.) He told me that life is short, so do everything that makes you happy.”
