October 31st is Halloween Day in America! On Halloween, you will see anyone from babies, children to grownups walking around in costumes, collecting candy or treats from their neighbors, and enjoying a moment to pretend they are someone (or someTHING) else. You can learn more about the history of Halloween here.
We’ll be celebrating at MLC with a costume contest, Halloween games, prizes, and of course, candy! You can see the action at our Facebook page later today.
To our global students and friends, check out this video of Halloween-related vocabulary words and phrases that you can use to join in on the fun!
